zarina 22 pleaded guilty for the offence. based on the case she hide the birth of the baby and ditched the the baby who had died,either after,before or during the birth.
she commited the offence at Sutera Hostel of the university kubang ikan.
zarina who holds a diploma in in science was charged under section 318 of the Penal Code, which carries a prison sentence of up to two years or a fine, or both.
The defendant’s lawyer, Mohd Hayyatuddin Mohamad, requested for a lighter sentence as it was her first offence, adding that she regretted her action.
